Through her membership, Patrice was able to complete the SWaM Certification, enhancing her business’s credibility and positioning it to seize bigger opportunities. Additionally, Patrice participated in the EBE Accelerator Program, where she engaged in personalized mentorship and training designed to accelerate her business's growth. Patrice credits VABCC President and CEO, Ernisha Hall, for her unwavering support and guidance throughout her endeavors.

Her commitment to delivering high-quality products with a purpose has garnered widespread attention, culminating in a significant milestone—Patrice was recently featured on the front page of The New York Times. This impressive achievement not only highlights her business but also her enlightening insights on diversity, equity, and inclusion (D.E.I.) efforts that are shaping the retail landscape.

Another fantastic accomplishment came when Patrice was awarded the $10,000 December Amber Grant, recognizing her innovative approach to skincare. This prestigious grant opens new doors for Patrice, providing crucial support to expand her mission of addressing the unique skincare needs of young people in her community.
