The Square Vendor Market, located inside Potomac Mills Mall near JC Penney and Books-A-Million, ls celebrating its First Anniversary this Black Friday with a day full of celebration, community spirit, and opportunities to support local entrepreneurs. Over the past year, The Square has served more than 200 small businesses and creators, helping them reach thousands of new customers. Collectively, these businesses have generated over $100,000 in revenue, directly reinvesting those dollars into the Virginia economy. To mark this milestone, The Square will host a Black Friday Anniversary Celebration featuring a raffle of over $2,500 in prizes, including home decor, tools, kitchenware, wellness products, and more. Shoppers who spend $100 or more between now and Black Friday will receive a raffle ticket, while purchases from The Square's nonprofit partners earn double raffle entries. This year, The Square proudly supports two nonprofit organizations that make a difference in the community: - WeFlsh2, which teaches youth fishing skills and outdoor responsibility. - Reign Sanitary Napkins, which provides essential wellness products and education for women. In celebration of its anniversary, The Square ls also launching Starting from Square One, a free entrepreneurship resource designed to help individuals in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington D.C. start and grow their small businesses.
