The presenting sponsor for this dynamic event is the Northern Neck Hidden History Trail, with support from Virginia Humanities, VA250, and MACorp. Together, they help make this a meaningful and memorable experience for all ages. The celebration will feature keynote speaker Dr. Cassandra Newby-Alexander, a renowned historian and author known for her work on African American history and emancipation. Attendees will also enjoy a live performance by Roberta Lea, an acclaimed country singer whose soulful sound bridges genres and generations.
