Job Title: Administrative and Marketing Intern

Position Summary:

As the Administrative and Marketing Intern, you will be a part of our daily operations, supporting our team in various activities. Your role will be multifaceted, involving everything from office management and attending exciting events to engaging in marketing initiatives, learning website design on the WIX platform, and supporting our marketing team.

In addition to these responsibilities, the intern will master the fundamentals of administrative support, including answering phones and managing email correspondence professionally and efficiently. This will involve promptly addressing inquiries, routing messages to the appropriate person, managing client consultation calendars, and ensuring effective communication both within the team and with clients or potential clients. This position will entail organizing and maintaining digital files, scheduling meetings and appointments, and creating a welcoming and organized office environment.

Examples of these tasks include coordinating with vendors for office needs, implementing filing systems for important documents, and managing the calendar of company events to ensure smooth operations. This role offers a unique opportunity to not only develop project management and business operation skills but also to gain valuable experience in the essential day-to-day workings of a bustling office environment. Ideal candidates will be eager to learn, have excellent communication skills, and possess the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.

Job Type: Part-Time (16-24 hours per week)

Salary Range: $15-$18 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Marketing and Promotion: Assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies, including social media management, content creation, and outreach efforts.
  • Administrative Support: Manage the President's calendar, handle emails, and perform other administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations.
  • Communication: Answer phones, make phone calls and maintain clear and effective communication with team members, partners, and the community.

Education and Position Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Minimum of one year of customer service experience.
